  1. What is the capacity?

    Sara Ellen occupancy is 150 guests

  2. Do you allow outside catering? Alcohol, a D.J. ?

    Yes we do, we also have preferred vendors who offer discounts to our clients.

    Serving of alcohol is permitted for guests 21 years of age and older. Selling alcohol is prohibited! We now have a cash bar!!! Please note we have a resident DJ available for your event. 

  3. Do you have a kitchen?

    No, food should be prepared prior to arriving at the venue

  4. Do you provide the chafing dishes or food trays?

    Yes, we provide them at an additional cost

  5. Is parking available?

    There is street parking on Market St. There is a parking lot in the rear of Sara Ellen. Use the address 321 Mason Ave, then follow signage to enter the rear of the venue.

  9. Can I choose any time to have my event?

    Friday & Sunday are open times

    Saturday time slots are 10am - 4pm, 6pm - 12am. If you need to overlap time slots, there is an additional charge of $350.

    All events end by midnight. We also offer Full Day Packages(12hr Venue Access)

  10. Does the six hours include set up & breakdown?

    Yes, it does. If you need extra time you can add it to your package if available. Additional hours are $125 per hour (as availability permits)

  11. How early can I come in to setup for my event?

    The setup time is included in the 6hour venue rental. If extra time is needed, please consider adding extra time or booking a full day rental.

  12. How much is the deposit?

    A $200 retainer is required. Your retainer reserves your event date and time and is NON-REFUNDABLE. Remaining balance can be broken into 2 payments. Final Payment is due 30 days before your event and includes a $150 REFUNDABLE INCIDENTAL DEPOSIT. Incidental deposit is returned within 48hours after event given no damages have occurred. Full payment & contract obligations are required before access will be granted.

  13. Do you decorate the venue?

    Event planning, decorating and/or day of coordination are available for an additional fee. We’d be happy to customize a package just for you.

  14. What is the cancellation policy?

    No refunds! Sara Ellen Venue will make every accommodation to reschedule requests as availability permits. A rescheduling fee may apply.

  16. Can we hang decor? Yes, this is your blank white canvas to design your own event. Put everything back as found. NO GLITTER, ALUMINUM CONFETTI, COLORED POWDERS, ICE SCULPTURES, REAL ROSE PETALS, CANDLES, TAPE OR DYES! There are hooks provided to hang your decor!

Cancellation Policy

Our 25% date-hold retainer is non- refundable.

​From 30 days prior to event: No space rental payment(s) will be refunded. 

If the client reschedules a date within 45 days of original event date, client must make payment in full.

​If the client or client's event is impacted by COVID-19, the date and payments made, may be rescheduled one time within 12 months of original event date, no refunds will be provided. 

​In the event of a government required shut down, payments made will serve as a credit for the rescheduled event.
